Indian Delegation Led by Congress MP Manish Tewari Returns After Strategic Anti-Terror Diplomacy Tour

New Delhi – In a significant move to strengthen India’s global stance against terrorism, a delegation led by Congress MP Manish Tewari has returned after completing a four-nation diplomatic tour. The primary aim of the visit, according to Tewari, was to expose the policy of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism at international forums — a goal he claims was successfully achieved.

Countries Visited and Strategic Engagement

The delegation visited Qatar, South Africa, Ethiopia, and Egypt, where they held high-level discussions with officials and policy influencers. Speaking to the media, Manish Tewari said, “We clearly and firmly communicated that Pakistan promotes terrorism, making it not only a threat to South Asia but a major source of global instability.”

Call for a Global Alliance Against State-Sponsored Terrorism

Tewari described the tour as a strategic diplomatic success, highlighting that their factual presentations were taken seriously by multiple international counterparts. He expressed optimism that the Indian government would build on this dialogue to isolate Pakistan and other terror-sponsoring nations through concerted global action.

Support from AAP Member on Key Issues

‘Aam Aadmi Party’ Rajya Sabha MP Vikramjit Singh Sahney, who was also part of the delegation, emphasized that their message was clear: “Terrorism has no religion, and all communities in India believe in peace.” He said that the delegation worked to counter narratives that attempt to give terrorism a religious identity, calling out such efforts by neighboring countries.

India’s Stand on Palestine Reiterated

When the Palestinian issue was raised by Arab nations during the tour, the Indian delegation reiterated New Delhi’s traditional support for the Oslo Accord and the two-state solution. Sahney stated, “We conveyed India’s full sympathy with the people of Palestine and our hope for a peaceful and immediate resolution to the conflict.”

This diplomatic mission has sent a strong message: India is committed to a firm and decisive stance on terrorism and will continue working with the global community to ensure security and peace. The focus now shifts to how the Government of India will take this initiative forward and strengthen international cooperation.
